Matt Meyer, Director of Student Services hosted a tour of the Upper Valley CC facilities, shared the many opportunities available to the Piqua & surrounding communities made available through the Career Center such as cosmetology, & engineering to name a few. LDP had lunch, prepared by the Culinary students at the Cornerstone Restaurant, located at the Upper Valley CC. The Miami County and Shelby County Chambers will be hosting a Joint Business After Hours for the Upper Valley CC, March 16, 5-7PM and is open to the public. Registrations can be made on the PACC website.
Piqua City Schools Superintendent, Dwayne Thompson, Piqua City Schools Treasurer, Jeremie Hittle, Piqua City Schools Business Coordinator, Curt South and Piqua Central Intermediate Principal, Josh Kauffman gave LDP participants an in depth presentation regarding the newly constructed Piqua City School buildings. Afterwards the participants were treated to an inspiring tour of Piqua Central Intermediate by Principal, Josh Kauffman.
