The Piqua Area Chamber, The Piqua Area United Way, Mainstreet Piqua, Grow Piqua Now and The Piqua Arts Council hosted the Annual Holiday Open House at the Piqua Plaza for their members and volunteers.
The Piqua Area Chamber Teen Leaders spent the day mapping bricks at the Piqua Veterans Memorial.
The Chamber will transcribe the Teens’ documentation of the bricks into a brochure that will be given to those who have purchased or will be purchasing memorial bricks placed at the Veterans Memorial. Jim Robinson graciously assisted the Teens with their project, as did Jim Roth from Forest Hill Cemetery.
Mark Reedy and Spencer Peltier of Thrivent Financial sponsored the supplies needed for the documentation of the bricks and lunch for the Teen Leaders community project.
The Home Depot made a difference in our community today!
The Home Depot “Doing more for Veterans” Crew designed a beautiful flower bed at the Piqua Veterans Memorial this morning.
They donated time and materials to create a beautiful display of fall colors. We sincerely thank them for all of their efforts for the community!
