We’ve made some changes to the PACC Piqua Teen Leaders program!
Changes have been made to the PACC Piqua Teen Leaders program offered through the Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce. The Piqua Area Chamber has changed the name of its Piqua Teen Leaders to “Empower Teen Leaders”. The program will now be offered to not only Piqua City Schools, but Upper Valley Career Center & Lehman High School juniors and seniors.
Monthly sessions will not be held throughout the school year, as before. Instead all sessions will be held within a two-week period, beginning June 5 – 15th, 2017 concluding with a graduation luncheon. Daily sessions will be held at the Piqua Chamber, 9 – 3 PM with lunch provided. Teens Taking Charge partnership with the Piqua Area United Way will continue to be the community service portion of the Empower Teen Leaders. No changes have been made to this portion of the program.
Application deadline to be included in the next session of Empower Teen Leaders is May 31, 2017. This program is limited to 24 individuals. The costs for this program is $50.
