LDP Tours Upper Valley Career Center and Piqua Central Intermediate School
Matt Meyer, Director of Student Services hosted a tour of the Upper Valley CC facilities, shared the many opportunities available to the Piqua & surrounding communities made available through the Career Center such as cosmetology, & engineering to name a few. LDP had lunch, prepared by the Culinary students at the Cornerstone Restaurant, located at the Upper Valley CC. The Miami County and Shelby County Chambers will be hosting a Joint Business After Hours for the Upper Valley CC, March 16, 5-7PM and is open to the public. The Order of George Lifetime Civic Achievement Award is Piqua’s highest and most prestigious community recognition award. It is presented annually by the Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce to honor an individual who exemplifies the best in volunteer and community service.
